A tragic accident on Thursday in Ekogi Village, under Agaie Local Government of Niger State, claimed four lives and left 26 others injured.
The accident involved a passenger vehicle and a Peugeot car carrying farmers in a head-on collision.
According to eyewitnesses, despite a swift response by the authorities, four of the victims succumbed to their injuries. The injured were taken to Agaie General Hospital, while those with severe injuries were immediately referred to the Federal Medical Centre in Bida for further treatment.
