The International Institute for Peacebuilding in the United Kingdom has commended Ambassador Umar Aliyu for his significant efforts in ensuring public safety and the security of lives and property across Northern Nigeria.
This recognition was conveyed in a commendation letter sent to the Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency via DHL.
The letter states, “Your efforts must be taken seriously by all right-thinking individuals in every society, considering your exceptional commitment to the fight against terrorism, banditry, and all criminal activities in your region.”
The message continues, “As an international network based in London, it is our duty to commend all those who have made a significant impact on sustainable humanitarian and development initiatives across the globe.”
In extending their congratulations, the Institute expressed, “Dr. Umar Aliyu Shayi and your organization, please accept our esteemed commitment and support for your professional contributions to the peace-building process and development initiatives.”
In response, Dr. Shayi expressed gratitude for the historic commendation letter from the prestigious British international network for peace. He pledged to redouble his efforts in the fight against terrorism.
He also highlighted that this recognition marks another milestone in the ongoing successes aimed at creating a more peaceful atmosphere in Northern Nigeria and the country as a whole.
