The Commissioner for Nomadic and Pastoral Affairs, Umar Ahmed Sanda Rebe, visited the Center for Research and Islamic Development to discuss initiatives aimed at improving nomadic education.
During the visit, Hon. Umar Ahmed Rebe revealed that the former governor had issued directives regarding nomadic schools during a council meeting. He commended the Center for its commitment and assured them of the ministry’s willingness to collaborate for the success of the initiative.
Earlier, the spokesperson for the Center, Umar Shafi'u, highlighted several plans designed to support the ministry’s objectives. These include capacity-building training, infrastructure and resource development, policy research, and advocacy. Malam Shafi'u Umar emphasized that collaboration between the Center and the ministry could enhance the quality of education and foster development within nomadic and pastoral communities.
