The Bauchi State Speaker Abubakar Y Suleiman under his Nabalango Foundation, has empowered 1000 students in Ningi local government area of the State with educational materials to promote education and support the academic development amongst youth and children.

Speaking during the flagged off distribution of free reading and writing materials to students in Ningi yesterday, Abubakar Y Suleiman, said the gesture is designed to shape education among younger individuals. 

He said: "We are committed to supporting the educational needs of our young people. This initiative is a testament to our dedication to promoting education and empowering the next generation of leaders."

"I promised you on behalf of all Honorable Members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly that we will continue to do everything within the confines of law to add more values to the lives of people we represent, education and other important sectors will get more funds for the betterment of all and sundry", Speaker said.

Also speaking, the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammad assured that the state government prioritises education in its annual budget saying that his administration has recognised the importance of education in driving development and growth.

Represented by Deputy Speaker Jamilu Dahiru assured that his government will continue to invest in education and support initiatives that promote learning and academic excellence.

The Chairman Committee on Education in Bauchi State House of Assembly, Dr. Nasiru Ahmad Ala also pledged support for the initiative, describing it as timely, "We will continue to work with stakeholders to promote education and support the development of our young people," he said.

The Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area, Nasiru Zakarai Dankasuwa, commended the Nabalango Foundation for its efforts in promoting education in the area.

He called on parents and students to rekindle their hopes through judicious use of the given items, “This initiative will have a positive impact on our community. We appreciate the foundation's commitment to supporting the educational needs of our young people.”
