Senior Special Assistant to the Bauchi State Governor on Youth Development, Bala Saleh Chiroma, has strongly criticized former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, accusing him of political instability and betrayal since the 2019 general elections.
Chiroma, popularly known as Bala Rambo, described Dogara as a disgruntled politician who has lost his political direction.
Recall that Dogara had accused Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, of ingratitude and betrayal towards the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, alleged that Wike financed Bala Mohammed's gubernatorial election in 2019.
Rambo in a chat with journalists yesterday in Bauchi, accused the former Speaker of turning against his former allies, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after vehemently opposing the Muslim-Muslim ticket during the last election.
Reacting to Dogara’s recent statements against Governor Bala Mohammed, Chiroma dismissed them as baseless and a desperate attempt to remain politically relevant.
“It is laughable for Dogara to claim that Governor Bala Mohammed’s gubernatorial campaign was solely funded by the former Rivers State Governor and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. These claims are nothing but falsehoods, fabrications, and figments of his imagination,” Chiroma stated.
He further warned Dogara against making unsubstantiated allegations and attempting to tarnish the reputation of Governor Bala Mohammed, stating that such political blackmail would ultimately backfire.
