The Federal Government has entered into a strategic partnership with Niche Customer Experience Consulting Firm to enhance public service delivery across Nigeria.
This partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) and the consulting firm in Abuja on Thursday.
In a press release signed by the Head of Strategic Communication at BPSR, Aliyu Umar, it was revealed that the collaboration is aimed at organizing the inaugural Nigerian National Public Service Experience Conference in 2025. The event will bring together public service officials nationwide to foster reflection, reinvention, and inspiration while challenging outdated practices and introducing innovative approaches.
The Director General of BPSR, Mr. Ibrahim Dasuki Arabi, highlighted the transformative potential of the partnership. “This collaboration is about reshaping and reimagining the delivery of public service in Nigeria. By leveraging the private sector’s capacity for innovation and customer focus, we aim to build a public service that truly meets the needs of all Nigerians,” he said.
The partnership is expected to drive measurable improvements in public service delivery, including initiatives such as nationwide research to understand citizens’ expectations and capacity-building workshops for public servants.
Onome Akwara, Founder of Niche Customer Experience Consulting Firm, emphasized the importance of customer experience in achieving transformation. She stated, “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence and a belief that by working together, we can achieve transformative results.”
The Federal Government’s dedication to public service reforms is evident in its continuous efforts to enhance governance and build trust in public institutions.
As Mr. Arabi reiterated, “Our actions will shape how Nigerians experience governance and trust public institutions.”
