The Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Engr. Bashir Aminu Yero FNSE, led a delegation of family, friends, and well-wishers to pay homage to His Royal Highness, Mal. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli CFR, the Emir of Zazzau.

Engr. Bashir Aminu Yero, a proud indigene of Zaria and the first to hold the position of Deputy Clerk at the National Assembly, began the visit with a heartfelt homage at the Emir's palace, seeking fatherly advice and prayers for a successful tenure.

"One of the primary reasons for this visit is to present my appointment letter to His Royal Highness and to seek his fatherly advice, support, and prayers for a successful tenure," Engr. Yero stated.

He expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of the National Assembly, led by the President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Abot Akpabio GCON, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen GCON (Iyan Zazzau), for their confidence and support in approving his appointment.

"We want His Royal Highness to provide us with counsel on how to succeed in our leadership roles for the betterment of the people of the Zazzau Emirate and the country as a whole. Where we falter, we look to you for guidance," he emphasized.

In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Mal. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli CFR, congratulated Engr. Yero on his appointment and urged him to uphold fairness, justice, and integrity in his leadership responsibilities.

"The entire people of Zazzau are proud of your recent appointment. We hope you will use your position to attract developmental projects and introduce entrepreneurial programs for our youth to combat unemployment in the country," the Emir stated.

The visit symbolized the strong ties between leadership and traditional institutions, highlighting the importance of collaboration for national development.
