Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has expressed his gratitude to All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates for their support during the last general elections and their contributions to his administration.
The governor made this remark during a meeting with delegates from the 21 Local Government Areas of the state at the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi, on Tuesday.
Governor Idris emphasized that the delegates' backing significantly impacted the state's development, allowing his administration to fulfill its campaign promises.
"I want to sincerely thank all of you. Since we won the elections, I haven't had the chance to meet you. That’s why I decided to gather you here today to express my gratitude," he said.
In his remarks, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, called on the people to continue supporting the administration’s mission and vision to ensure the delivery of more democratic dividends. He lauded the government's achievements as lasting legacies for the state.
Former Kebbi State Governor and State APC Campaign Coordinator, Alhaji Sa'idu Usman Dakingari, also commended the delegates for selecting a capable and credible candidate, highlighting the positive outcomes of their choice.
