The member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituencies in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori, has distributed fertilizers and rice seeds to dry season farmers across the three local government areas in Adamawa State.

The distribution, which took place on Wednesday at La’ori’s campaign office in Numan town, included rice seeds and modern fertilizers produced by NPK AF&C Company.

In his welcoming address, Elder Amna Pare expressed gratitude to the participants and emphasized that the support would not reach everyone immediately. He explained that a rotational distribution system had been devised to ensure fairness, reassuring those who did not receive the items that they would be included in future rounds. He also urged the distribution committee members to handle their duties with honesty and fairness.

Speaking on behalf of Rt. Hon. La’ori, the Majority Leader of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and representative of Demsa, Hon. Kate Mamuno, explained that the distribution was open to all farmers regardless of political affiliation. She praised the quality of the fertilizer and advised farmers to use it effectively in their fields to maximize crop yields.

“We pray for Rt. Hon. Kwamoti La’ori, wishing him well and supporting him in his endeavors. We stand with him now and in the future for whatever he seeks to achieve,” Mamuno said.

The member representing Lamurde Local Government Area in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Bauna Pawikai Myandasa, lauded La’ori’s initiative, emphasizing that the support was targeted at helping poor farmers. “This grant is intended to support those in need. I urge you to use it wisely and avoid selling it,” he said.

Chief Niwesa George Kushi, Chairman of Jimeta Modern Market, also commended La’ori for his contributions, describing him as a high-ranking and impactful representative in the National Assembly. “This significant support shows true leadership. We are very grateful to him and pray for God’s continued guidance and wisdom for him to do even more in the future,” Kushi stated.

Mr. Lot Titus, a member of the distribution committee in Lamurde Local Government, highlighted the transparent system put in place to ensure fairness. “We involve representatives from the polling unit level to guarantee that the goods reach the right beneficiaries. Each polling unit has a representative overseeing the distribution process,” he explained.
