The member representing Zaria City Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila, popularly known as "Bola Ige," has once again demonstrated his commitment to education by sponsoring 300 students to continue their post-basic education (JSS 1 and JSS 2) at BATC Zaria City Centre.
Speaking at the second launch of the program under the "Save the Children Initiative," the lawmaker explained that the beneficiaries were carefully selected from the six wards of his constituency, with many of them being orphans.
Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila stated that under the initiative, the students received school uniforms, bags, mathematical sets, and other materials to support their studies. He added that arrangements had been made with the school to ensure the continued provision of essential materials and resources for the program's success.
Reaffirming his commitment to education, youth development, and empowerment, the lawmaker emphasized his dedication to the people of Zaria City and the advancement of education in the state.
He expressed gratitude to the organization Reach Out to School Children for honoring the event and supporting the students with 500 exercise books. Additionally, he thanked Governor Uba Sani for his invaluable support for education in the state.
Barrister Isma’ila also highlighted his previous efforts, noting that under the same initiative in 2024, he supported 50 primary school students with school bags, books, and other educational materials.
The deputy chief whip of the Kaduna State House of Assembly pledged to continue his efforts in improving access to education and supporting the youth in his constituency.
