The Islamic movement under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has extended its condolences to the family of Awwal Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun, the eldest son of Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun, who passed away last week after a short illness.
A delegation led by Sheikh Aliyu Tirmizi, the representative of the Islamic movement in Kaduna, visited the grieving family in Rigachikun town, Kaduna State, on the morning of Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Speaking during the visit, Sheikh Tirmizi conveyed the condolences of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and the entire Islamic movement. He reiterated their sympathy and prayers for the deceased, expressing solidarity with the bereaved family.
Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun, in response, expressed his appreciation for the visit and the support shown by the Islamic movement during this difficult time.
In a separate development on the same day, following the recent deaths of several individuals in Zaria, Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello, the representative of the Islamic movement in the city, paid condolence visits to the families of the deceased.
Among those who passed away this week were prominent businessman Alhaji Bala Mai Kusa (Al-Babello), Alhaji Ali Gidan Kanwa of Karauka, Zaria, and Alhaji Dalladi Gidan Kafe of Kofar Kuyanbana.
During both condolence visits, the Islamic movement prayed for divine mercy upon the departed souls and sought God's forgiveness for them.
