According to a press release issued by Malam Ismaila Musa, Information Officer of the Niger State House of Assembly, the motion for confirmation was moved by Hon. Sani Idris of the Tafa Constituency and seconded by Hon. Zubairu Ismail Zanna of the Rafi Constituency.
The seven confirmed permanent commissioners are:
1. Barr. M. A. Lman – PC One
2. Malam Nasiru Ubandiya – PC Two

Speaker Sarkin Daji explained that the confirmation process was deliberately delayed for three weeks to allow for public petitions, complaints, or objections in line with legal provisions. However, as no concerns were raised, the assembly proceeded with the confirmation.
