The Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency has commended the newly posted Commissioner of Police to the Bauchi State Command while congratulating the immediate past CP, Auwal Mohammad, on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG).
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to media organizations by the Commander General of the agency, Dr. Umar Aliyu Shayi.
Dr. Shayi praised AIG Auwal Mohammad for his well-deserved promotion, attributing it to his dedication, hard work, professionalism, and integrity in service to humanity. He also called on the people of Bauchi State to support the new Commissioner of Police, Sani Aliyu, in his efforts to combat terrorism, banditry, and other criminal activities in the state.
Furthermore, Dr. Shayi urged all stakeholders to assist both conventional and non-conventional security agencies by providing useful information to aid in the fight against crime and insecurity.
It is worth recalling that Ambassador Umar Aliyu Shayi currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Security Matters to Governor Bala Mohammad of Bauchi State and also holds the position of Assistant Commandant General (ACG) Operations in the Nigeria Hunters and Forestry Security Service.
He commended the security agencies in Bauchi State for their collaboration, synergy, and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities. He concluded by appreciating Governor Bala Mohammad’s administration for its continuous support in providing logistics and resources to security agencies across the state.
