The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, has donated N10 million and 100 bags of rice to party executives in the state.
According to a statement signed by the APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the items were handed over to the State Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, for distribution among the executives.
Danfulani said the donation was in appreciation of the executives' hard work, dedication, and contributions to the party’s success at all levels. He added that it is also part of his efforts to enhance the welfare of party leaders and motivate them to remain proactive in their duties, ultimately boosting the party’s popularity across the state.
The chairman congratulated Muslims in Zamfara on witnessing this year’s Ramadan and urged special prayers for lasting peace in the state. He described Ramadan as a period of sacrifice, charity, and repentance, urging the faithful to use the opportunity to seek Allah’s blessings and forgiveness.
Danfulani also called on wealthy individuals to assist the poor, widows, and orphans, emphasizing that such acts attract divine rewards.
He further urged APC members to pray for peace in Zamfara and the northwest, stressing the need to support ongoing security operations aimed at restoring normalcy in the region.
On behalf of the party executives, State Secretary Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima thanked the chairman for the timely gesture, assuring that the donation would reach all intended beneficiaries.
