Kaduna State government has vowed to provide quality healthcare to its citizens.
This is in line with Governor Uba Sani's vision to enhancing healthcare services in the state.
To this regard, Hajia Umma K. Ahmed , the Commissioner of Health, and Prof. Bello Yusuf Jamoh, the Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board embarked on a crucial visit to several health facilities across State.
Speaking to our Correspondant in Zaria, Prof Bello Jamoh, Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board said the visit was to conduct an on-the-spot assessment of the revitalization exercise initiated Governor Senator Uba Sani.
He explained that six key health facilities in Zaria zone were inspected, including Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Rimin Doko, Tudun Wada, Gyallesu, Samaru, and Chikaji.
Prof Jamoh added that MIBA General Hospital in Sabon Gari Local Government Area was also inspected during the visit.
According to him the facilities were crucial in providing essential healthcare services to the people of Kaduna State.
The Executive Secretary noted that the visit was part of Kaduna state government's efforts to revitalize the healthcare system and ensure that citizens have access to quality healthcare services.
Recall that the team had earlier paid an on-the-spot assessment visits to primary healthcare centers in Rigasa, Kabalan Doki, Mando, Rafin-Guza, and Maraban Jos in Kaduna axis of the state.
He further explained that the assessment visit will avail both the Commissioner and the Executive Secretary the opportunity to see for themselves current state of the facilities with a view of identifying areas of improvement.
It will also encourage government to provide necessary support to enhance healthcare delivery in those facilities.
"The revitalization exercise is a significant step towards improving the healthcare sector in Kaduna State.
"With the government's commitment to upgrading healthcare facilities and services, citizens can expect better healthcare outcomes and improved overall well-being." He stated.
