The All Green Agro Field Farmers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (AGAFPAMA) has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the appointment of Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed as the Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.
In a statement released on Friday through the office of its National Secretary, Amb. (Dr.) Nura Hashimu Minna (Tallafin Bosso Karami, Magayakin Jihar Yamma), the association applauded the President for fulfilling his promise to prioritize youth inclusion in key government appointments.
"President Tinubu is a leader and elder statesman with a strong sense of integrity. We are thankful to God Almighty and to Mr. President for keeping his word," Amb. Nura stated. "We are hopeful that more youth-focused appointments will follow, In-sha-Allah."
The association noted that with Hon. Fatuhu’s appointment, the National Agricultural Seed Council is expected to boost federal government initiatives in the agricultural sector, playing a vital role in national development and economic growth.
"May Allah (SWT) protect Mr. President from his enemies and grant him more wisdom in steering the affairs of this nation," the statement added.
Amb. Nura assured the presidency that Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed, a former member of the National Assembly, will not disappoint in his new role and will work diligently to elevate the council's impact.
AGAFPAMA also called on Nigerians to offer prayers and support to enable the new Director-General to succeed in his duties and move the council to greater heights.
