The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), Dr. Auwal Mustapha Imam, has extended heartfelt Easter greetings to Christians across the country, calling on them to reflect on the values of love, peace, and unity that the season represents.
In a message conveyed through his Personal Assistant on Media and Communication, Nuhu Basheer Masa on Sunday, Dr. Imam emphasized the need for Nigerians to rise above ethnic and religious differences and embrace one another in love.
He said, “Christ showed the ultimate example of selfless love and sacrifice. His resurrection symbolizes hope and redemption.”
Dr. Imam further urged citizens to imbibe the virtues exemplified by Jesus Christ, including compassion, forgiveness, and kindness, stressing that these values are crucial for national unity and development.
“Christ’s teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and kindness should be emulated by all,” he stated in his Easter 2025 congratulatory message.
The NILEST Director General concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration.
“Dr. Auwal Imam wishes Christians a Happy 2025 Easter Celebration,” the statement added.
