President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, at the public presentation of Being True to Myself, the autobiography of former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido. The event, held at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja, drew a large gathering of prominent political figures and national leaders.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was among the early arrivals, joined by former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, as well as former Senate Presidents Ken Nnamani and Pius Ayim.
Former PDP National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, is reviewing the autobiography, which chronicles Lamido’s decades-long political journey and personal reflections.
Also present were 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and the governors of Gombe, Muhammadu Yahaya; Jigawa, Umar Namadi; and Plateau, Caleb Mutfwang.
Among other notable attendees were former governors Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), and Liyel Imoke (Cross River), alongside several dignitaries from across the country.
