Senator Adamu Usman (popularly known as Mr. LA), representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has distributed 10 vehicles to his local government coordinators as part of efforts to reward and encourage their support during the last electioneering campaign.
Speaking through the Director General of his campaign organisation, Comrade Abdulrashid Abdullahi Kajuru (also known as Yaron Kirki), the senator said the gesture is part of a larger plan to distribute a total of 50 vehicles to loyal party members across the constituency.
“This is just the beginning. We are distributing 10 vehicles today, but more beneficiaries will receive theirs in the coming phases. It is part of the senator’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to his constituents,” Kajuru said during the distribution ceremony held in Kaduna.
Also speaking at the event, the Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kaduna Central, Honourable Hussaini Garba Ahmad (Garkuwa Babba), praised the senator’s initiative. He expressed optimism that despite internal challenges within the party, the PDP would emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
He congratulated the beneficiaries and called on other party supporters to remain patient, assuring them that the gesture would eventually extend to a wider segment of the party’s grassroots supporters.
“This initiative should serve as a challenge to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to also deliver real benefits to their members. The PDP remains the only party committed to empowering its supporters,” he said.
In his remarks, the PDP Chairman for Kaduna State, Mr. Edward Percy Masha, encouraged members who are yet to benefit to remain hopeful, assuring them that more distributions are on the way.
He commended Senator Usman for fulfilling his campaign promises and called on the beneficiaries to use the vehicles effectively, not just for personal needs, but also to support party mobilisation and development efforts.
Among the beneficiaries were Honourable Maman Da from Kaduna North and Honourable Veronica from Kaduna South. Both expressed appreciation for the senator’s gesture and pledged to work tirelessly toward ensuring the PDP's victory at all levels in the 2027 elections.
