The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, who died early Thursday morning at Nizamiye Hospital, Abuja, following a brief illness.
In a statement signed by the party's Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the APC State Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, on behalf of the State Working Committee, party executives, leaders, and members, extended heartfelt condolences to the Zamfara State Government, Gusau Emirate Council, the State Council of Chiefs, and the entire people of the state.
The party described the late Emir as a visionary leader who upheld the legacy of his forebears in promoting the development of the Gusau Emirate and the state at large. He was also praised for his dedication to Islamic values and his firm stance on human rights.
“Late Alhaji Ibrahim Bello will be remembered for his humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to service. He was a devoted Muslim and a symbol of peace and integrity,” the statement said.
The APC prayed for the repose of his soul and asked Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
