The House Committee on Works, led by its chairman, Akin Alabi, conducted an inspection of the Coastal Road, focusing on the newly completed shoreline protection works at Chainage 14.
According to a terse statement on Alabi's Facebook handle, the visit is part of the committee's oversight functions, aimed at ensuring that all projects under the Federal Ministry of Works are delivered with a high standard of quality and within the stipulated timeframe.
The statement reads: "I am currently on the Coastal Road with members of the Works Committee to inspect the recently completed Shoreline Protection works around Chainage 14.
