The Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, has received the newly elected leadership of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) on a courtesy visit to his office.
Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri urged the new executive members to promote inclusivity and strengthen collaboration among all stakeholders.
He congratulated the TUC leadership and assured them of the state government's unwavering support in pursuing their objectives.
Dagaceri noted that under the leadership of Governor Umar Namadi, the Jigawa State Government remains committed to maintaining a labour-friendly environment and fostering strong relationships with labour unions.
He encouraged the union to view the government as a partner in progress and to work cooperatively toward the development of the state and the improvement of citizens’ welfare.
Earlier, the newly elected TUC Chairman, Comrade Ali Sa’adu Dutse, expressed gratitude for the government’s support during their election and reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating on training and retraining programmes for workers in the state.
He also appealed for continued support from the Head of the Civil Service to achieve their shared goals.
