President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the posting of Kayode Are as Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to the United States.
The development was confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, who announced the postings of four diplomatic nominees.
According to the statement, Ayodele Oke has been designated as Nigeria’s ambassador to France, while Aminu Dalhatu, a former ambassador to South Korea, was named high commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom. Also appointed is former Kebbi State governor, Usman Dakingari, who will serve as Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to Turkey.
