Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso has officially resigned as the Honorable Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and as a member of the Kano State Executive Council.
In a statement released on Monday, Kwankwaso expressed deep gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the opportunity to serve the people of Kano State. He said he cherished the experiences and lessons gained during his tenure and thanked the governor for the trust placed in him.
“I have cherished the experiences and lessons gained while serving, and I appreciate the trust placed in me,” Kwankwaso said.
The former commissioner emphasized his continued concern for the welfare of Kano’s youth and expressed optimism for the future of sports development in the state. He urged stakeholders to sustain and improve initiatives that nurture young talents.
Kwankwaso concluded his statement with prayers for the progress of Kano State, saying, “May Allah (SWT) continue to shower His blessings on our beloved Kano State. I wish the government and people of Kano State all the best.”
