Former Minister of Defence, Mr. Badaru Abubakar, has dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging that he is planning to defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the claims as false and unfounded.
In a statement personally signed on Tuesday, Badaru categorically denied the report, saying it was entirely untrue and the handiwork of political mischief-makers.
The former minister reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that he is a founding member of the party and remains firmly loyal to its ideals and leadership.
He urged members of the APC and the general public to ignore what he described as “false and misleading reports,” stressing that he has no intention of leaving the party.
Badaru reiterated that his loyalty to the APC remains absolute and unchanged.
