A new artificial
intelligence-powered platform, JateeX AI, has entered the market with a promise
to simplify global sourcing and logistics for Nigerian businesses navigating
international trade.
Officially launched on August 1,
2025, JateeX AI is designed to connect businesses — from small startups to
large enterprises — directly with verified manufacturers and shipping companies
worldwide. The platform aims to reduce the stress, costs, and uncertainties
often associated with importing goods.
Speaking on the launch, a
representative of the company said artificial intelligence is reshaping global
commerce through automation and smarter decision-making.
“AI is truly changing how we do
business. It's bringing a new level of automation and helping us make smarter
decisions. We believe JateeX is at the forefront, helping businesses tap into
that power and achieve real growth,” the representative said.
According to the company, JateeX AI
allows users to search for manufacturers by describing a product through a chat
interface or by uploading a product image. The system then matches requests
with suppliers from its database of verified global manufacturers, providing
contact details and company information.
The platform also enables businesses
to negotiate directly with manufacturers, potentially cutting out
intermediaries. It offers company verification and quality control services
aimed at reducing common sourcing risks.
On the logistics side, JateeX AI
provides shipping options including air and sea freight, complete with cost
estimates and delivery timelines. The company says it also tracks shipments
from the manufacturer’s warehouse to the final destination, offering end-to-end
support.
Beyond sourcing and logistics, the
platform includes tools for business planning and market research. Users can
reportedly seek AI-generated insights to improve their operations and adapt to
market conditions.
The company states that its
“no-code/low-code” design makes the platform accessible even to non-technical
users. It is also built to scale, offering solutions for both small businesses
and larger organisations.
JateeX AI says it incorporates
company verification processes, quality checks, and secure payment solutions to
safeguard transactions. The company also notes compliance with international
data protection standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
For Nigerian users, the Pro Plan is
priced at ₦16,000 per month (approximately $10), offering expanded messaging
capacity, unlimited supplier and shipping searches, and enhanced search
functionality. A Free Plan with limited features is available for new users,
while larger organisations can opt for a custom-priced Enterprise Plan with
additional capabilities.
Industry observers say platforms
like JateeX AI could play a significant role in helping Nigerian businesses
compete globally by streamlining procurement processes and lowering operational
barriers.
JateeX describes itself as an
AI-powered global sourcing platform focused on transforming procurement into a
competitive advantage through automation, direct supplier connections, and
integrated logistics support.
