All arrangements have been concluded for the turbaning of Alhaji Auwal Alhassan as the first Dan Majen Inkil.
This was disclosed to the media in Bauchi shortly after a meeting of the organising committee, according to its Secretary, Murtala Auwal.
In a statement, the committee said all preparations have been finalised following extensive consultations by a high-powered organizing team.
The statement added that the event will take place soon, in line with established ethical guidelines and traditional norms governing turbaning ceremonies.
The Sarkin Inkil has approved the conferment of the title on Alhaji Auwal Alhassan after careful consideration of his contributions to sustainable development and social services in Bauchi State.
Alhaji Auwal was described as a true son of the soil and a patriotic Nigerian, as well as a respected young African committed to humanity, peace, respect, and social harmony.
According to the statement, his strong family background and dedication to community service have distinguished him among his peers, particularly his commitment to the welfare of orphans in Bauchi State.
The committee further noted that Alhaji Auwal has consistently provided scholarship support to thousands of less-privileged individuals, especially students, on an annual basis.
He was also described as a champion of education, peace, economic development, and democracy, as well as a God-fearing community leader.
The statement added that he manages various business ventures within and outside Nigeria, contributing to economic growth and development initiatives.
Alhaji Auwal completed both his primary and tertiary education in Bauchi State and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Global Governance and International Development at a foreign institution in Western Germany.
The statement concluded by appreciating all stakeholders for their contributions toward making the forthcoming event successful and memorable, in line with the rich traditions and cultural heritage of turbaning ceremonies.
