The Head Agricultural Extension Services (IAR) Dr Sharhabil Musa Yahaya said Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer will reduced production cost to farmers by 20-30 percent, it is very active and it will boost farmers yield..
He stated this while presenting result from 36 demonstration farms conducted by Institute for Agricultural Research to the Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited, at the institute.
Dr. Sharhabil added that, if farmers have easy access to the product it will make positive impact to them by making more gain and boost their production.
Drr. Sharhabil advised farmers to used this new fertilizer which reduces the fertilizer application on a hactre.
He called on the Universal Speciality Chemicals Africa limited to make the product available and affordable to the peasant farmers.
The Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) in collaboration with Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited conducted the demonstration trial with Nutracoat and Nutramix fertilizer.
In his remarks, a Senior Agromist with Universal Speciality Chemicals PVT Limited Mr. Chandrashekhar More said Nutracote and Nutramix fertilizer has no effect to human health and farmland.
Mr. More said, the fertilizer were made from natural ingredients locally source without any chemical.
According to him, Nutracote and Nutramox fertilizer when use it will reduce production cost to farmers by 30-50 percent.
The Senior Agromist said, the new fertilizer is very active and it will boost farmers yield unlike the normal fertilizer.
Some farmers who participated actively in the demonstration trial have expressed their appreciation over what they described as wonderful production success beyond their expeçtations.
The farmers appealed to the company to make it available and affordable to all farmers in Nigeria.
