Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, member representing Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency, has launched a massive empowerment programme targeting 50,000 beneficiaries across his constituency.
The initiative, tagged “Empowerment to the Doorsteps,” is designed to support 25,000 women and 25,000 young men through cash grants and distribution of empowerment materials.
Under the programme, women beneficiaries are receiving ₦20,000 each as start-up capital for small-scale and mini businesses, while young men are also being supported with ₦20,000 cash assistance in their respective localities.
Items distributed under the empowerment scheme include motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, and motor vehicles for party stalwarts and other constituents.
As part of the ongoing exercise, the lawmaker’s campaign train recently visited Nata’ala Ward, where another phase of the empowerment programme was conducted.
The initiative reportedly commenced in April 2026 and has already covered several wards across Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State.
Wards previously covered include Burum Burum, Baburi I, Dalawa, Fala, Gazobi, Yaryasa, Sabon Gari, and Tsohon Gari.
The empowerment programme is aimed at improving livelihoods, supporting small businesses, and reducing unemployment among youths and women in the constituency.
