The Tinubu/Uba Sani Mobilization Network (TUSMN) on Sunday held a stakeholders' Town Hall Meeting for Zone One at the National Institute for Transport Technology (NITT), Basawa, Zaria, under the leadership of the organisation's chairman, Malam Aminu Zariya (Aminiyya Amana).
The meeting attracted a large number of stakeholders and dignitaries from across the zone, including senior government officials, political leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders, party members, youth and women groups, professionals and supporters of the organisation.
Speakers at the event highlighted the achievements of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Kaduna State Government under Governor Senator Uba Sani, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, agriculture, security, infrastructure and other sectors.
In his address, the Chairman of TUSMN, Malam Aminu Zariya, reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to supporting the policies and programmes of both the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Government while strengthening collaboration between government and the people.
He said the network would continue to sensitise the public on government policies and achievements, improve communication with communities and promote greater public participation in governance.
According to him, the organisation would also continue to mobilise support for President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani to enable them to sustain their developmental programmes in a second term.
He added that such meetings play a vital role in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda by fostering stronger cooperation between government and citizens in the pursuit of national development.
Speaking at the event, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Hajiya Umma K. Ahmed, outlined the achievements of the state government in the health sector, including the upgrade of healthcare facilities, recruitment of additional health workers and expansion of access to quality healthcare services across the state.
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Agriculture, Murtala Muhammad Dabo, also highlighted the administration's achievements in agriculture, particularly its support for farmers through the provision of agricultural inputs, equipment and programmes aimed at boosting food production and reducing food costs.
Also speaking, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Professor Sani Sambo, said the Uba Sani administration had implemented key reforms in the education sector, including the construction of new classrooms, reduction of school fees and introduction of new academic programmes.
Other dignitaries at the meeting included the Chairman of the Kaduna State Ciyamomi Association, Hon. Abubakar Jamil Albani; the Dallatun Zazzau, Alhaji Mukhtar Labaran Yaro; and the Kaduna State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Ahmed Mai-Yaki. They commended the initiative and prayed for the continued success of the organisation.
The meeting ended peacefully, with participants expressing support for the leadership and developmental policies of the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Government.
