The Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, says its National Chairman, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has joined other opposition coalition leaders in a visit to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
A statement by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Muhammed Ishaq, says that the meeting with the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Presidential Candidate was described as inspiring.
The statement adds that the coalition plans to meet with other party leaders to broaden its capacity ahead of the 2027 general election.
The coalition also condemned the reported arrest of young people in Borno State for wearing T-shirts with political messages.
It said Nigeria must not become a country where citizens are treated as hostages.
