A Bauchi State House of Assembly candidate for Toro/Jama'a Constituency under the platform of New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) Ibrahim Garba Tilde has facilitated the donation of twenty million naira to Jama'atul Izalatil Bid'ah Wa Iqamatussunnah (JIBWIS) Tilden Fulani Branch of Toro Local Government for the purchase of plot of land for Eid Ground and construction of school.
Presenting the money to the group, Ibrahim Garba said that as part of his commitment to attract development to the people of the Constituency, he had solicited grants and interventions for his Community from his business partners and associates in which one them made the donation through him.
He explained that the donation is meant to help the Group in acquiring a plot of land for permanent Eid Ground and complete its ongoing construction of islamic school in Tilde.
According to the candidate, the donor who don't want his name mentioned, made the donation for Allah's sake and hoped that the Group will use the money judiciously.
Ibrahim Tilde assured the Group and people of the Constituency that apart from his boreholes repair initiative in which more than 100 boreholes were repaired, he will continue attracting development initiatives and donations to the Area.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Group, the Leader of JIBWIS Tilde Branch Malam Abdullahi Muhammad expressed the appreciation of the Group and all people of Toro Local Government to the donor and the facilitator Ibrahim Garba Tilde.
He explained that the Group had never received such huge donation either at Local Government or Branch level, thus they are short of words to describe their gratitude for the huge gesture.
The Islamic scholar describes Ibrahim Tilde as patriotic, selfless, religious and true son of the soil who is making people of the Area proud.
While praying to Almighty Allah to bless the donor and replenish his account, Malam Abdullahi Muhammad pledges to reciprocate the gesture in many ways.
