DAILY STRUGGLE Newspaper reported that the autobiography of the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is set to be launched. This was contained in a statement released by the office of the Shaikh on Wednesday 11 January 2023.
The Institute for compilation of Shaikh Zakzaky’s works and the Office of Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky is inviting the general public to the book launch during the 72nd birthday of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky in the month of Sha’aban.
The statement said the book titled; “THE HISTORY OF MY LIFE AND THE ISLAMIC MOVEMENT" is the first of its kind in the history of the Islamic Movement.
According to the statement, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky wrote the book; “and the book talked about various topics and many issues that every activist of the movement needs to know. The Book includes Shaikh Zakzaky's origin, birth, growth, knowledge and the beginning of the Struggle, trials and tribulations, events, illegal detention in different prisons, tests and lessons learned”.
The book also contains about 30 chapters, 260 sub-chapters, more than two hundred thousand words, and more than 700 pages written in two volumes.
"The book is a glow, it tells truth concerning many things that the majority of people are unaware of about the Islamic Movement and its Leader.
“In the book, you will read many things you never knew about the Islamic Movement and the life of Shaikh Ibraheem from the horse mouth”, the statement added.
The statement further advised that; “It is essential for every activist of the movement to save money and have his copy of the book.”
Commentators said the book come at a better time and will serve as a primary source of the Islamic movement in Nigeria's History.
