Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Zamfara state chapter has inaugurated a seven members committee for its planned media cup competition in the state.
Secretary of the state chapter, Daniel H Dogon Yaro made this known in a statement issued in Gusau shortly after the association meeting on Wednesday May 24.
Those inaugurated are; Dahiru Samaila Mafara, Chairman Aminu Abubakar Mayanhi, Co-Chairman, Adeyenik Salaudeen member, Representive from FA, Member, Representative from Zamfara Sport Council, Member, Husainni Gambo, Member, Abubakar Tsalha Almajir, Secretary.
According to the chairman of the state chapter, Murtala Rabiu Dabbakal the committee was mandated to organize a hitch free competition and ensure all the relevant stakeholders of the association are adequately inform.
Rabiu further stated that, activities will commence from Thursday, 25th May, 2023 with groupings in which all heads of media organizations are expected to grace be around at the NUJ Press Center by 11am prompt.
