Professor Imam Yahuza Suleiman of the Arabic Department, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has been appointed as substantive Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS).
This was contained in a letter dated 23rd May 2023 with reference number HME/FME/ Vol.01/136/A; "the appointment is for a period of Five years (5)", the letter read.
The letter was signed by the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari.
Until his appointment, Prof. Imam Yahuza Suleiman was a lecturer with the Institute of Education, Department of Arabic, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
He once served as Deputy Registrar of the board.
