Giwa LGA Pays Medical Bills for Surgery and Treatment Totaling ₦15M for 110 People

The Executive Chairman Giwa Local Government, Hon (Dr.) Shehu Lawal Giwa, paid and sponsored surgery and medical treatment expenses to (110) people amounting to Fifteen Million Naira (#15,000,000) across the (11) of Giwa LG.

The statement was issued yesterday after gathering the total number of the beneficiaries through the efforts of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Giwa LG chapter, Comrade Ibrahim Shehu Lawal, (POP) through the support of his Executive members representing the (11) wards of Giwa LG. He added that the kind of Community development activities of the LG used the opportunity as synergy between the NYCN and the community & forwarded the request to the Executive Chairman Giwa LG, and he quickly approved it for the improvement of good health care of children and women as one of the priority of his administration.

The Surgery/Treatment took place at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, on different kinds of sicknesses such as:

⏺️ Hyaena=(30) Adult

⏺️ Hyaena=(11) Children

⏺️ Cancer=(38) People

⏺️ Different kind of Surgery=(8) Children

⏺️ Admission/Treatment for different sicknesses for women/children (16)

The total number of beneficiaries was (110) across the (11) Wards of Giwa LG.

In an interview with the parents/guidance of the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Chairman of Giwa LG over the medical support pledge to the people of Giwa LG, in her part Haj Sakina Sani, from Giwa Ward pray for Allah to bless and reward the Chairman of Giwa LG towards providing the medical support to her daughter that she underwent surgery in her Anus. 

Finally, Mal. Dauda Isah from Kakangi & Malama Rukayya Hari,  from Maraban Yakawada, also thanked the Chairman and showed their appreciation to the Chairman Giwa LG, and wished him a future endeavor and Allah granted his father Jannatu Firdaus.
