The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, on his five years in office.
Senator Abbas, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Innovation, Science, and Technology, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Yola on Wednesday, on behalf of the people of Adamawa Central, described Fintiri's developmental projects as commendable.
Abbas also praised the security measures put in place by Governor Fintiri, stating that they are a laudable effort to enhance the security of lives and property at all levels, as security is everybody's business.
The Federal lawmaker added that within the five years of Governor Fintiri's administration, he has provided infrastructural development throughout the state, improved the welfare of civil servants and retirees, and set machinery in motion for the much-desired people-oriented projects.
The senator also commended the government for providing free palliatives to the people of the state across the 226 political wards as part of measures to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.
He revealed that the patriotism showcased by the Fintiri-led administration is a sign of better days ahead, and the people of the state are hopeful of reaping the benefits of good governance.
Aminu Iya Abbas, while praying for God to protect and guide the Governor in his mission to improve the fortunes of the people through the Prosperity policy thrust, reiterated the commitment of critical stakeholders to continue supporting the Governor for the unity, peace, and development of the state.
