The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, celebrated his 41st birthday on Sunday with People Living with Disabilities (PLWD) in Yola. During the celebration, he donated a Sienna bus to the group.

The event was attended by a large number of people with disabilities, as well as his wife, Mrs. Faith Bathiya Wesley, the Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Mohammed Buba Jidjiwa, several state assembly lawmakers, special advisers, special assistants, friends, family, political associates, and others.

Speakers at the occasion described the celebration as unique, highlighting Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley's humility, focus, and patience as a leader.

Mrs. Faith Bathiya Wesley described her husband as God-fearing, a gentleman to the core, and a prayerful personality who believes that success is not possible without God's guidance.

In his speech, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley thanked the organizers for the pleasant surprise and expressed his gratitude to the group for their love and support. He also appreciated his colleagues, political associates, and other groups for their goodwill messages on his birthday, assuring them that he will continue to pay special attention to their affairs as a mark of a sense of belonging.
