Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, his wife, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Bago, family members, and well-wishers were among many guests at the 13th speech, prize-giving, and graduation ceremony of his daughter, Aisha Amal Umaru Bago, from Glisten International Academy, Abuja.

The Governor, elated to see his daughter graduating, commended the management and teachers of the school for their dedication to grooming the students both in character and learning.

He called on the graduates to continue to be respectful and law-abiding citizens as they enter a new phase of life and pursue further knowledge.

Aisha Amal Umaru Bago, the Governor's daughter, expressed gratitude to Allah for successfully completing her secondary education and thanked her parents and the school management for their support in her academic pursuit.

The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Glisten International Academy, Hajiya Samira Jibir, acknowledged the supportive role of parents in helping the students excel academically and become better members of society.

She emphasized that the school would continue ensuring its students are technologically advanced in line with global best practices.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Charles Ene, described the event as a significant milestone and the beginning of a new chapter for the graduates. He advised them to be innovative and prepare for the world's challenges that require innovative solutions.

Aisha Amal Umaru Bago received an award as the best female boarding student and a special award for being the longest-enrolled student, having been at the school from nursery to secondary.

Her mother, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Bago, also received an award for being the longest-patronizing parent of the academy.

Several other awards were presented to outstanding students, staff, and individuals for their contributions to the school's development.

A total of 100 students graduated from the school as the 2024 set.
