The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), H.E. Silas Ali Agara, has expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the takeover and conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.
This landmark decision, following a request by the Nasarawa State Government, underscores President Tinubu's commitment to improving healthcare in Nigeria in line with his administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
The conversion of the hospital into a federal teaching hospital will enhance the training of students in medical and allied sciences at the College of Health Sciences, Federal University of Lafia.
Beyond improving healthcare services in Nasarawa State, the new facility will create significant job opportunities for the numerous unemployed youths in the state and beyond, aligning with the NDE's mandate.
The people of Nasarawa are thrilled by this development, which will leave a lasting impact, thanks to the people-oriented policies of President Tinubu's administration.
