The Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency has expressed its gratitude and reiterated its support for the visionary leadership of Governor Bala Mohammad of Bauchi State in addressing security challenges.
Speaking during an interactive session with the press, the Director-General of the Agency, Dr. Umar Shayi, praised Governor Bala Mohammad for his efforts in ensuring the state remains "safe from all forms of terrorism and crime."
Ambassador Shayi also noted that during the recent "nationwide hunger protests," the security agencies effectively and professionally carried out their duties without any intimidation or molestation of citizens.
Dr. Shayi emphasized that his agency is ready to conduct professional operations in synergy with conventional security agencies across the state to respond quickly to crime prevention.
Ambassador Shayi highlighted the importance of parenting in the fight against crime, urging parents to ensure proper upbringing, monitoring, and supervision of their children.
Meanwhile, the Commander General, Dr. Shayi, commended CP Auwal Mohammad and the entire command for their tactical operations, professionalism, integrity, and the implementation of global best practices in policing to tackle terrorism and crime in Bauchi State.
Dr. Umar expressed his deepest gratitude to all conventional security outlets in Bauchi State for their outstanding work and called on community members to assist security agencies by providing relevant intelligence and useful information to help identify criminal elements in the state.
