The National President of the Katsina State Indigenes Association, which encompasses residents in all 36 states of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, and the Vice Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Katsina State Chapter, Aliyu B. Usman Daura (DEDA), has appealed to members to disassociate themselves from the planned protest and continue supporting government policies and programs for peace and stability in the country.

This call was made when some members of the Association from various states paid him a courtesy visit in Katsina. Aliyu Daura, who is also the Chairman of the Association in Sokoto State and President of the Daura Emirate Development Association (DEDA), emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order. He urged members to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and to continue praying for divine intervention in addressing the country's challenges.

The Association also opposed protest rallies, highlighting the potential risks of property destruction and economic destabilization.
