The Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC), after declaring PDP candidates as the successfully elected chairmen of the twenty local government areas in Bauchi State, has presented them with certificates of return.
While presenting the certificates, the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Ahmad Makama, urged the elected chairmen to reciprocate the gesture by delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
He commended the people of Bauchi State for their support and peaceful conduct during and after the elections, and prayed to Allah to guide them in the discharge of their statutory responsibilities.
