The Director General of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Hon. Abubakar Ahmad Nmaa (Ambassador), has urged Nigerlites and Nigerians to remain hopeful, determined, and confident about the prospects of 2025 under the leadership of Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago.

In his New Year message, Ambassador Nmaa encouraged the people of Niger State and Nigeria to view 2025 as a year of economic revival, achievable through collective support and cooperation.

He called on citizens to pray for their leaders, emphasizing the importance of unity in addressing the challenges facing the nation.

“As we step into the New Year, let us remain hopeful, prayerful, and determined to contribute to the development of our dear state and nation,” Nmaa said. “As good citizens of Niger State, we should consistently pray for our leaders to have the wisdom to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.”

Highlighting the shared consequences of governance, he stated: “If Niger State prospers, it benefits all of us. Similarly, if the state struggles, every Nigerlite feels the impact.”

Ambassador Nmaa appealed to those involved in armed conflicts against the government to lay down their weapons in the interest of peace.

“We have no other home than Nigeria. It is our collective responsibility to ensure peace and harmony prevail,” he urged.

He expressed confidence in Governor Bago’s administration, describing it as a mission for a "new Niger."

“Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago is committed to transforming Niger State. We must support him and give him the confidence and cooperation needed to achieve this vision,” Nmaa stated.

While congratulating Nigerians on witnessing another year, Ambassador Nmaa also called for support for President Bola Tinubu and his administration.

“By supporting government policies and programs, we create the opportunity to enjoy more dividends of democracy in our respective communities,” he concluded.
