Alhaji Lawal Jibril, popularly known as San Turakin Bomo and a member of the Board of Directors at Arewa Vision Television, has described the station as a groundbreaking initiative that will raise awareness about human rights abuses and empower the common man.
Speaking during an appreciation event for the management of the newly launched Arewa Vision Television in Zaria, Jibril commended their dedication and vision for the station.
He urged the northern community to leverage the opportunities provided by the television network to promote progress and development across the region.
He emphasized that Arewa Vision Television’s establishment comes at a crucial time, offering a platform to address pressing social issues such as crime and drug addiction among the youth.
Jibril expressed confidence that the station’s diverse programming—spanning agriculture, human rights advocacy, science and technology, religious teachings, and entertainment—will create significant positive impacts on society.
The Director highlighted the station’s unique status as the first human rights-focused TV network in the northern region. He expressed hope that people in Zaria and beyond will embrace its potential to transform lives and foster unity.
Jibril also called on the community to actively participate as stakeholders by ensuring that the station’s content remains lawful and aligned with its mission of progress and enlightenment.
