The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has showered praises on the Speaker of the 10th State House of Assembly and representative of Mariga Constituency, AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji, on the occasion of his 43rd birthday, celebrated on January 8, 2025.
In a birthday message conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described the Speaker as a young, vibrant, intelligent, enthusiastic, and hardworking leader.
The Governor acknowledged the Speaker’s passion, purposefulness, and commitment to making the 10th State Assembly more vibrant and effective in its service delivery. He lauded AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji’s leadership, particularly his efforts in mobilizing fellow lawmakers to pass legislation supporting the realization of the “New Niger” agenda of the current administration.
Governor Bago also commended the harmonious relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of government under the Speaker's leadership and pledged to strengthen the partnership further.
Expressing gratitude to God for the life of the Speaker, the Governor prayed for many more years of wisdom, good health, and vitality for him to continue providing purposeful leadership in the State Assembly, complementing the developmental strides of the administration.
