Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed his condolences to the government and people of Borno State following a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of several farmers and left many others missing in the Dumba community, near Baga, Kukawa Local Government Area.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago described the attack as heinous and horrific, emphasizing that the news was deeply saddening to all responsible Nigerians.
The governor commended the efforts of security agencies in combating terrorism across the country but urged them to intensify their operations to ensure lasting peace and security.
He assured the Borno State government of his administration’s continued support during these challenging times.
Governor Bago also extended his sympathies to the families of the victims, praying for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and hoping for the safe return of those still missing.
