An Abuja Magistrate Court, on Tuesday, February 27, 2025, cleared the President of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Sociocultural Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, of all charges brought against him by the Department of State Services (DSS).
It can be recalled that on December 8, 2024, military authorities arrested Bello Bodejo at the Maliya National Headquarters in Nasarawa State and took him to the Defence Headquarters for interrogation. Following public outcry over his prolonged detention, he was eventually arraigned in court, where he was discharged and acquitted.
However, just two days after his release, the DSS appealed the case, leading to his rearrest and the filing of new charges against him.
With today’s court ruling, if all bail conditions are met, the Miyetti Allah leader is expected to reunite with his family and loved ones soon.
