Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Magajin Gatan Nupe, Alhaji Ahmed Ndaman, who was also the father of the Director-General, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAMP), Alhaji Nma Abubakar Ahmed.

In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the DG of RAMP, and the entire Bida Emirate over the loss.

Governor Bago described the death of the Magajin Gatan Nupe as a significant loss to the entire state, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the traditional institution and Niger State as a whole.

He noted that the late Magajin Gatan Nupe was a father figure to many, known for the positive impacts he made on the lives of those around him.

The Governor added that the legacies left behind by the late traditional leader will continue to inspire future generations.

He urged the Etsu Nupe, the DG of RAMP, and the bereaved family to find solace in the good and fulfilled life the deceased lived, while remaining steadfast in their faith in Allah.

Governor Bago prayed for Allah’s forgiveness upon the soul of the deceased and for his admittance into Aljannah Firdausi, while also asking for divine comfort for all who mourn his passing.
