Education in Nigeria is undergoing a transformation, and Franco-British International University (FBIU) is at the forefront of this change. As a newly established institution in Kaduna, FBIU is committed to providing world-class education, fostering innovation, and shaping future leaders across various disciplines.
Franco-British International University (FBIU) is an institution where French and British academic styles converge to offer an outstanding education. FBIU is part of the MAAUN group of universities, founded by the exceptional entrepreneur and educator, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo. A renowned academic and the Sarkin Yaki da Jahilci (Warrior King of Illiteracy) of Africa, Professor Gwarzo has dedicated his career to expanding access to quality education.
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Federal Government, through the National Universities Commission (NUC), issued an operating license to FBIU. FBIU embodies academic excellence with a vision to compete with globally acclaimed universities and offer a truly international education. The institution uniquely blends French and British academic traditions, fostering a pedagogical approach that broadens students' perspectives and equips them with a well-rounded education.
